Jennifer is the director of Little Notes Music. She feels passionately that music should be a part of every child’s life and loves teaching Music Together® since it provides such a wonderful opportunity to share her love of music. She enjoys creating a classroom setting where ALL children feel welcome and included, and she has extensive experience teaching children with special needs. Additionally Jennifer has been a member of Music Together's Special Needs Program Development Workgroup since 2008. This workgroup is dedicated to assisting Music Together teachers and directors develop the skills needed to successfully include children with special needs in their classes.

She was first introduced to Music Together when her oldest daughter, Sarah, was a baby and has never forgotten what a wonderful experience that was. Jennifer has also enjoyed making music with her other children, Jack and Samantha. She has been a registered teacher for Music Together since Spring 2001, and additionally, she has been awarded Certification Level I and Certification Level II from the Center for Music and Young Children, in Princeton, NJ. Certification Level II is the highest level of training available from Music Together and was awarded for having demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy and parent education. Jennifer is also a presenter for Music Together at national teacher conferences.

Additionally Jennifer enjoys teaching private string lessons for violin and viola, and also is available to conduct musical birthday parties at the location of your choice. 

Jennifer is classically trained on the viola and plays the autoharp during classes and birthday parties. She is currently a member of the Massapequa Philharmonic. Jennifer is NY state certified in Music Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education. In addition to teaching Music Together, Jennifer is a first grade teacher in a local public school district.

Laureen has been teaching Music Together for two years. She holds a bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Music Therapy, and was a practicing Music Therapist for twelve years. She took a hiatus from Music Therapy when she became a mom to twins in 2009. Laureen has worked with various populations of children, including children with developmental delays, language impairments, pervasive developmental disorder, visually impaired, hearing impaired and medically challenged. She developed a program in the NICU and has also worked with cancer patients. Laureen enjoys being a Music Together teacher because she strongly believes in the philosophy that every child is a musical child, and she places a high value on the experience of making music together as a family.

Alexandra grew up on Long Island and when she was 8 years old, her family moved to Vienna, Austria. Growing up in Vienna, she studied music at the Musikgymnasium, a specialized high school for students intending to study at a conservatory. After that, she continued her education at the Danube International School where she received International Baccelaureate Diploma, including studies in Theatre Arts and Music. At the age of 22, Alex continued her education in the Arts, and studied professional dance at Danceworks in Berlin, Germany. Shortly after her daughter was born in 2014, Alexandra moved back to Long Island, closer to her extended family. She has been a Music Together teacher for the past 3 semesters, and also enjoys attending Music Together classes with her daughter.
